Eve L. Ewing has been writing for Marvel since July 2018. She writes the solo series Ironheart, which is the story of Riri Williams, a Black teen girl from the South Side of Chicago who combines her brilliance and engineering aptitude with some mentorship from Tony Stark. As Ironheart, she travels the world with her custom armor and AI systems, righting wrongs and trying to figure herself out along the way. Ewing also wrote the three-part Marvel Team-Up series, featuring Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man. According to Comic Watch, she “brings an irresistible charm to the characters she writes.” She has worked on smaller projects as well, including the collaborative special Ms. Marvel 38 and the forthcoming anniversary special Marvel #1000.
