Poetry in Context [Bowling Green, KY]

Western Kentucky University’s Cultural Enhancement Series Committee presents the second event of the season, “Poetry in Context: An Evening with Dr. Eve L. Ewing,” taking place at Van Meter Hall on October 15, 2019 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

WKU is proud to bring Dr. Eve L. Ewing to Van Meter Hall and to campus for the first time. Dr. Ewing’s keynote will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be an in-depth talk about the significance of poetry within its historical, social, and emotional context. There will be a Q&A session after the keynote followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase before and after the event in the lobby of Van Meter Hall.

The event is free to both students and the public.
